Customer Reviews

Great shirt, generously cut. Feels very nicely made.

As I said before it is very good

Ok back length, but the front is way too short. It is far from non iron. It wrinkles easily. I will not but more shirts by this manufacturer.
- Morten
Nicely made although the sleeves are a touch too long and the label is a bit scratchy on the back of the neck (hopefully a couple of washes will sort that out).

Positives - blue and olive is my favourite Tattersall check and why I bought the shirt. Organic cotton, according to the label, if not the website page. The boxing hares brand label looks smart. Negatives - must be washed at 30c and cannot be tumble dried. There were no care instructions on the product page, or I'd not have bought it - my other cotton shirts all launder at 40c and can be tumble dried, so this shirt is as delicate as my wife's cashmere. Despite this the shirt shrank by 3" in length on its first wash but, after a week, Peter Christian customer services responded that this is not a manufacturing fault. 1* therefore for each of quality, value and fit as I can't award the zero I'd like to. The 'Made in Bangladesh' label in the neckband won't lie flat so the edge scratches my neck. The laundry instructions label is similarly scratchy and the spare buttons on its reverse are positioned such that they dig in my waist under my belt (your body shape may be different, but how much variation is likely in a size M?). 1* therefore for comfort. This shirt cost £8 more than my most recent ones from Jermyn Street and has lasted one wash. Coupled with the abysmal approach to 'customer service', I won't be buying from Peter Christian again.
