Well made from excellent material. Unfortunately the 42 short jacket sleeves were too long for me. Because the cuffs are split, button through, alteration was impracticable. My fault, not the jacket!

Disappointing. I have the ‘teal’ version of this jacket from a few years ago. It is, for me, of a better weight of cotton, has flapped side pockets (which I prefer), and has been a pleasure to wear. From the description, I expected this jacket to be similar in quality (I had noted that it had patch pockets but was reconciled to that) but I found the colour description misleading. While the ‘teal’ version has the blue/green shade I expected, I had assumed this jacket would be have a stronger tendency towards ‘green’. In fact, while marginally different, the colours were too similar to be useful.

Versatile casual jacket that’s smart enough for semi-formal events, and still looks good when creased a bit. Plenty of pockets inside and out, and buggy-lined so stays a bit cooler in summer. Relatively heavy fabric though, so not for the hottest of days. Like the sage green as an alternative to the ubiquitous beige! As usual with Peter Christian had to order a couple of sizes to make sure I got the correct fit (sizing isn’t completely consistent across different items - needed 50 in waistcoat and gilet but 52 in jacket) but Peter Christian returns and refund service top notch - email acknowledgment when returned item received by them, and refund five days later. Appreciate that the jacket is offered in long as well as standard arm length.
