This classic design dates back to 1888 when it was first issued to Petty Officers in the Royal Navy. Whipsmart and incredibly warm, the double-breasted button front is designed to fend off the bitterest Atlantic blast. Our traditional peacoat is manufactured in East London from thick double-faced wool with a contrasting check lining. Formal or casual, this timeless Naval style is a coat for any occasion.
Looks great and keeps the storm at bay!
Lovely coat, very smart and has a classy look, very pleased, Im sure it will last for years
Very good addition to my wardrobe
Unfortunately it proved to be too large . Coat consequently returned to you.
very nice and warm, sleeves a little bit too long
It's well made, looks smart and is and nice and warm. I've been out on a few really cold days with it and if you turn the collar up you are well protected from the wind. I haven't been out in the pouring rain with it but it isn't bothered by showers. The sizing is quite generous - I could probably manage with a size smaller. I suppose that depends on how many layers you have on underneath. The two outside pockets are large but they don't fasten in any way. There is only one small pocket inside in which my phone fits neatly, but there is nowhere for credit cards, tickets etc. I would have liked a couple more somewhere inside - there's certainly room. It looks like another reason to wear a jacket underneath.
Fabulous looked for several years for something similar
A classic navy officer’s coat, very warm and comfortable.
